Annwyl Syr/Madam,

Mae Comisiwn Ffiniau a Democratiaeth Leol Cymru wedi cwblhau cam olaf ei arolwg o’r trefniadau etholiadol ar gyfer Sir Y Fflint. 

Mae’r Comisiwn bellach yn cyhoeddi ei Argymhellion Terfynol. O dan Adran 37 o Ddeddf Llywodraeth Leol (Democratiaeth) (Cymru) 2013, ar ôl derbyn yr adroddiad, gall Llywodraeth Cymru, os gwêl fod hynny’n briodol, wneud gorchymyn i weithredu unrhyw argymhellion a wneir iddo gan y Comisiwn naill ai fel y’u cyflwynwyd neu gydag addasiadau.  Ni chaiff unrhyw orchymyn i weithredu argymhellion o’r fath gael ei wneud nes bod chwe wythnos i’r dyddiad y cyflwynwyd y argymhellion i Llywodraeth Cymru wedi mynd heibio.

The Local Democracy and Boundary Commission for Wales have completed the final stage of their review of the electoral arrangements for the County of Flintshire

The Commission is now publishing Final Recommendations. Under Section 37 of the Local Government (Democracy) (Wales) Act 2013, on receipt of the report, the Welsh Government may, if it thinks fit, make an order giving effect to any recommendations made to it by the Commission either as submitted or with modifications.  Any order giving effect to such recommendations shall not be made until after the expiry of six weeks from the day on which the recommendations were submitted to the Welsh Government.
